We don't even know our neighbors across the street, but we sure act like we know a lot about things that are taking place on the other side of the world in languages we don't speak. A little humility would server us well when it comes to presuming to understand other countries and cultures. Our way of doing things is not the natural default way of human organization; there is no such thing as that. We should keep that in mind.
